Meet Matt Sharp
President & Founder
Matt Sharp brings nearly two decades of experience across the nonprofit and higher education sectors, combining relational consulting with deep expertise in operational strategy, capacity building, and team leadership. He currently serves as the Chief Housing Stability Officer at Crisis Assistance Ministry, where he leads strategic initiatives to support individuals and families facing financial and housing instability.
Prior to his current role, Matt served for six years as Chief Operating Officer at RunningWorks, directing day-to-day operations and scaling organizational systems. Earlier in his career, he spent 11 years at Johnson & Wales University as Director of Student Involvement & Leadership, honing his focus on process improvement, culture development, and organizational growth.
Matt holds an MBA from Southern New Hampshire University, a Bachelor of Science in Hotel & Resort Management, and is an alumnus of Leadership Charlotte. Deeply committed to community leadership, he actively serves on the Board of Directors for Ascend Nonprofit Solutions. Outside of work, Matt enjoys hiking, catching a soccer match, discovering great local coffee shops, and spending time with his wife and their pets.
